  • Freedom Celebration - Sunday, June 28th at Salyer Lake.

Nature of God - God the Creator

The Bible begins with a world described as tohu wa bohu — “formless and void.” Darkness. Disorder. Chaos. Yet before anything takes shape, the Spirit of God is already present, hovering over creation.

Genesis reveals the nature of God as Creator:

  • bringing order from chaos,
  • light from darkness,
  • and hope from emptiness.

Jesus continues this same story. John 1 tells us the Creator stepped into creation through Christ. God does not abandon broken places — He enters them.

The same God who created the world still comes near today.

Firework Fundraiser Meeting - Wednesday, June 10th at 6:30 pm in room 308. Pastor Steve Ruby - 1st Corinthians study in room 301. Sunday, June 14th NazKids VBS Continues! Check in begins at 9:20 AM and the VBS experience goes through 11:30 AM. Sunday School Groups meet at 9:30 AM and Worship Service is at 10:30 AM. Click here for help finding a group if you haven’t joined one already. Upcoming Events Kids Camp - Begins next Monday June 15th. Click here for all of the Kids Camp Essentials Food Pantry - Open June 20th and serving lunch 1:00 - 3:00 pm. Fireworks Fundraiser - Visit Fireworks Central to learn how to support our teens as they raise funds for key spiritual formation trips like camp, NYC, Fall Retreat, and more.
